Landscape Photography

Landscape photography is intended to show different spaces within the world, sometimes vast and unending, but other times microscopic. Landscape photographs typically capture the presence of nature and are often, but not always free of man-made obstructions. Landscape photographers usually attempt to convey an appreciation of the world.

Conversly modern landscape photography often makes use of the contrast between mans intervention in the landscape showing a decrepit fenceline or stark modern building in contrast to crate tension and dynamic interest in an image.

Notable landscape photographers include Ansel Adams, Galen Rowell and Andris Apse.
